Ground Cover

  • The ground-cover plants on the Paia side are called Ohai or sesbania tomentosa
  • The bushes on the Hana side are called 'Akia or wikstroemia uva-ursi. Mature bushes are 4-6 feet high.
  • Under the KB sign is 'Uki 'uki or Dianella Lily.
  • The majority of the Board is not happy with these plants and wishes to replace them with something more colorful like hearts & flowers which will keep the weeds down and look pretty.
